JUNIOR NATIONAL LAW CONFERENCE '21

Terms & Conditions


  • Participation in the Junior National Law Conference 2021 (“JNLC 2021”/ “the Conference”) is limited to Attorneys-at-Law with less than 10 years practice in the Bar.
  • The tickets for the conference will only be sold online via the Junior Bar website www.juniorbarbasl.lk and will be sold on a strict first-come-first served basis.
  • Payments for tickets online will only be accepted via credit or debit cards.
  • In the circumstance that the Conference cannot be held due to any COVID-19 restrictions on the scheduled dates, it will be postponed to a future date, which will be duly communicated to all participants.
  • Check-in will be from 1.30 pm to 5.00 pm on the 3rd of December 2021 and check-out will be at or before 12.30 pm on the 5th of December 2021, for residential participants.
  • The residential ticket of the Conference covers the Junior National Law Conference 2021 and all meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner and tea served during sessions) for the duration of the Conference. Any expenses incurred for additional services required by delegates from the Hotel, including room service and/or use of the Mini Bar and/or laundry services, must be borne by the delegates who have requested such services.
  • The Day-pass includes access only to the sessions, lunch and tea served during sessions, on the 4th and 5th of December 2021.
  • The Gala Dinner will be open only to Resident Participants.
  • As per hotel regulations, all participants shall be required to provide a declaration that they are fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
  • All participants are required to conduct themselves in a socially responsible manner and adhere to physical distancing and general COVID-19 preventive measures.
  • All participants voluntarily assume any and all risk and danger incidental to the event.
  • The organizing committee disclaims liability for any damages whatsoever, whether direct, indirect, incidental or consequential.
  • The organizing committee shall not be liable for any violation of COVID-19 safety protocols by the hotel and/or any participant and/or any consequence thereof.
  • The organizing committee reserves the right to restrict participation of any persons displaying any COVID-19 symptoms.
  • The organizing committee shall not be responsible for the arrangement of transport to and/or from the event venue.
  • The ticket shall be issued upon full payment of the complete room fee and such fee shall be non-refundable.
  • The transfer of a purchased ticket maybe considered if informed in advance and provided that the party making such request nominates a replacement participant. However, approval of the same shall be at the sole discretion of the organizer of the Conference.
  • Participants consent to contact details being gathered by the organizers of the Conference and shared with sponsors of the event.
